Our Method

Lessons in our centre are structured in a dynamic interactive way, which involves communicative tasks, games, role-play activities, debates and projects. We carefully monitor our students’ progress and adapt our methods to their needs. Likewise we encourage them to develop their self-learning abilities.

Our method is based on a communicative approach, the basis of which is the communicative competence, primary goal of any foreign language teaching. By means of continuous communication, our students gain practical ability while using their skills in everyday situations. Students are expected to analyse the different aspects of the language (grammatical, semantic, functional, etc.) in order to achieve a better command of Spanish in all its dimensions.

Our teachers are qualified experts, native graduates specialised in teaching Spanish as a foreign language. They have a passion for teaching and devote their enthusiasm and creativity to the application of their teaching resources in the classroom.

Lessons are distributed into different skill-orientated periods along the day. There is a 20-minute break every two hours so that students can talk with their classmates, check their e-mail o go for a coffee to one of the bars in the area.

Teaching materials and resources

All teaching material is provided by EIBUR. Textbooks needed at class are sold at a special price to students.

EIBUR information desk is open from 8:00 a.m. to 20:00 h. Our students have free access to computers and Internet connection.  They can also visit our library and borrow books, magazines, CD’s and DVD’s to support classroom learning. In like manner we encourage our students to devote one to two hours a day to do homework and consolidate their language learning too.
